International Research Project (IRP) Inserm, GLYCODISC

rejoint

The goal of the GLYCODISC projet is to consolidate a cooperating relationship between France (PI: Catherine LE VISAGE, Inserm) and Hong Kong (PI: Barbara CHAN, The University of Hong Kong (HKU)), in the field of regenerative medicine for intervertebral disc disease and low back pain.

To treat low back pain, the researchers will use biomimetic hydrogels associated with mesenchymal stem cells.

The ultimate outcome of the program is to lay the foundation for a large-scale international collaborative project with scientists from both countries.
