Workshop GDR ALMA, GT 2 Materials for AM

The aim of ALMA GDR is to structure the French scientific players around the fundamental questions raised by FA, concerning the interactions between materials science, mechanics and process engineering.
This workshop is dedicated to “powders and wires” and “special alloys” for additive manufacturing.
The program is very rich, with contributions from academic researchers and industrial experts.
Among the speakers, Laurent Couturier will present the paper “Mechanical strength of WAAM aluminum parts: from foundry parts to parts with high mechanical properties ” (with Louise Burot, Gautier Doumenc, Alexandre Benoit and Pascal Paillard (PolyTech Nantes).
